Point Scoring
Runners are awarded points in each race of the series based on a percentile calculation of position of finish among those competing in that race within the runner's age and gender grouping.
For the purposes of scoring, each runner will be placed in an appropriate age group based upon his or her age on July 1, 2011.
Age Groups
Awards will be presented to male and female competitors with the highest “series” point totals for their three best races in these categories and age groups: Overall, Masters (40+), Grandmasters (50+), 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+.
Awards
AANR-SW will ship personalized awards to the series winners. There will be no duplication of awards. In the event of a tie, the award will be presented to the older competitor.
