GENERAL INFORMATION

• The AANR-SW awards up to 2 (two) $1,500 scholarships each year.
• The awards are based on merit alone. No consideration is given to race, creed, sex, religion, or financial need.
• The scholarship checks are made payable jointly to the recipient and the school/college after verification of enrollment.
• Deadline for applications is April 30 of the year the scholarship is awarded.
• The Scholarship Committee consists of four people from four different AANR-SW clubs.
• All information submitted is kept confidential and not shared with anyone outside the Scholarship Committee.
• The recipients of the scholarships will be announced at the annual AANR-SW convention.

ELIGIBILITY

• Applicant and/or parent/guardian must have been an AANR-SW member for the last two years.
• Applicant must be between the ages of 17 and 25.
• Applicant must be a high school senior, or already enrolled in a college, technical or vocational institution.

INSTRUCTIONS

• Fill out the attached application form.
• Include a letter of recommendation from a teacher or administrator at their school.
• Include a letter of recommendation from an AANR-SW member other than a family member.
• Include a school transcript showing current grade point average.
